Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the main advantages of Gesberg Presso Health?
- Digital pressure control.
Some devices on the market either do not have a pressure sensor at all (menstrual cuffs are inflated for a programmed time) or measure pressure approximately. Maximum pressure in such devices.
This can cause micro-injuries to blood vessels and capillaries.
Presso Health devices measure pressure during operation and never inflate the cuff more than necessary, ensuring safe use.
- Compact size.
Thanks to the efforts of our engineers, Presso Health devices are very compact while maintaining their consumer properties, making them easy to store and transport.
For example, you can easily take them with you on a trip. Presso Health includes a carrying and storage bag.
- Very quiet operation.
We use only high-quality, very quiet compressors. You will not disturb your household members during the massage treatment, and the device's sound will not disturb you.
- Only high-quality materials.
Devices and cuffs are made of high-quality materials that do not lose their properties over time. Gesberg compression cuffs allow for daily use for a long time if needed. The cuffs are also covered by a 24-month warranty.
- Information display.
Pressure, operating mode, currently inflated chamber - all this is visible on a large, informative display.
What pressure is needed for pressotherapy treatment? Is more pressure better?
At first glance, it may seem that the higher the pressure generated by the device, the better. However, this is not true. During the treatment, fluid (blood and lymph) moves through very small vessels - capillaries. A quick and very strong impact on these vessels can damage them, causing the appearance of spider veins, bruises, and various internal vascular injuries.
Leading global manufacturers of professional pressotherapy equipment do not use compressors with pressure greater than 120-150 mmHg.
Presso Health device parameters meet professional standards - both in terms of cuff inflation speed and pressure.
Is it possible to use leg cuffs and cuffs for other body parts simultaneously?
This is not recommended because the pressotherapy procedure removes excess fluid from the tissues, and this fluid must flow to another area of the body. When acting on a large area of the body simultaneously, blood pressure may rise and cause additional strain on the heart and other organs.
Can I massage only one leg?
Yes. To massage one leg with Presso Health devices, simply put on one cuff and place the other cuff nearby. In Presso Health Pro devices, for massaging one leg, you can use a rubber plug located at the bottom of the device to block the second air outlet.
How to determine the cuff size I need?
Gesberg Presso Health has a built-in pressure sensor, so regardless of leg size, the cuffs will have the same effect on leg tissues (which is safe for vessels and tissues and will not cause micro-injuries to blood vessels and capillaries).
Therefore, the main and sufficient condition for effective massage is that the cuff's fastener on the legs can be fully closed and there is at least 2-3 cm of remaining reserve. However, it is also important that the cuff size is not too large, as in this case, the cuffs will be filled with air to the required pressure more quickly.
Measure the circumference of your leg at the thigh, calf, and foot using a measuring tape and choose the appropriate size according to the size chart.
